PAWS partners with our local PetSmart locations in San Marcos and New Braunfels & Petco in Kyle to help more cats find loving homes.

Through PetSmart and PetSmart Charities’ in-store adoption program, more than 11 million pets have found forever homes, with an adoption happening roughly every 38 seconds nationwide while Petco Love has adopted 6.7 million as of 20026!

Because we operate within retail stores, our offsite adoption process looks a little different than at our main campuses…

An approved adoption application is required before entering the cattery and interacting with the cats.

Pre-approved adopters receive priority and can schedule a dedicated meet-and-greet time.

Walk-ins are welcome and applications may be completed/reviewed in store if timing allows; however, immediate access to the meet-and-greet room cannot be guaranteed.

Once approved, you can meet the available cats and, if it’s a great fit, take your new family member home the same day!

To provide a calm, individualized experience, we host one meet-and-greet at a time.
