The PAWS Foster Program

The number of animals we can save depends entirely on the number of people who open their homes and hearts to foster them!

Foster homes enable us to help dogs, cats, puppies & kittens for various scenarios…

Puppies & kittens under 5 months of age are too young to be in the shelter environment…in order for us to be able to bring these young ones into our program, foster homes are essential!

On the other hand, shelter breaks for our adult animals is a real thing whether for medical reasons, length of stay or behavioral issues.

Without our fosters, a huge number of animals would be without the care & love they need!

Foster provide a safe, clean, caring environment as well as food, water, enrichment & other pet supplies…most of what you will need can be provided by PAWS. We want to set our fosters up for success!

It’s also vital that our fosters provide socialization when appropriate, monitor for any medical concerns, be able to transport for meet & greets, events & health care appointments.

Please consider being a foster for PAWS & fill out our foster application! You can specify exactly what kind of pet(s) you are willing to bring into your home: bottle babies, moms & litter, adults, dogs or cats only, long term, short term, medical cases…it’s up to you & every foster opportunity has enormous benefits!!
