Community Service

PAWS is happy to offer community service hour opportunities to those 18 and up at both our campuses but your offense MUST be nonsexual and nonviolent.

If you are under 18 and need to complete community service (for legal purposes or high school graduation purposes), you are welcome to signup for orientation (along with your parent) & fulfill your hours on the volunteer side.

Community service tasks involve zero animal contact and include such tasks as laundry, dishes, poop scooping, yard work and/or light maintenance work. If you have specific skills such as a handyman or specific repair work, please let us know!

You are welcome to attend a volunteer orientation ($25) in order to be able to do hands on animal work…please note orientation fills up fast so this may not be the fastest path to complete your hours!

Please call the campus you are interested in BEFORE coming out and make sure to bring your ID on day 1. Wear clothes that can get dirty and shoes with good traction.

Being able to complete you CS at PAWS is a privilege and at any time PAWS can revoke that privilege if it’s being taken advantage of.
